This place rocks from top to bottom. The food is out of this world and the team they have is also one of the best. I recommend this place to EVERYONE I speak to! To all the Zac’s fans come re give it a try, I can guarantee at this point it will not disappoint! Never loved restaurant more!

Service and food were great. I had the fish fry with the tuna appetizer. Make sure you try the garnish if you get the tuna. You"ll be missing out if you don't. Kind of a retro look to the place, definitely worth checking out.

Unique atmosphere and decor. Menu is definitely comfort food and a nice change from the norm.High quality food.Staff is friendly and engaging. The live music was a nice added touch to the evening. We will definitely be back.

Great food and very reasonably priced. We ordered from the 2 for $20 menu and the gumbo for appetizers. Delicious and good wait staff.

My husband and I took our daughter and her fiance here to celebrate their engagement. It was our first time and we had a great time. Great food, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere. The manager introduced himself and told us some of the history of the new restaurant. Urban Comforts took over a location that had been a popular Italian place called Zak's. Some folks miss the old place and that's understandable, but for us this place was awesome. They have a modern menu and very interesting specials. Since we went I have seen a lot about them on social media having events and contributing to local causes. We look forward to another visit soon.

Dishes prepared with unique seasonings and sides. GREAT ability to combine food for a new taste sensation. Deserts to die for. GREAT service as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return.

This was our 1st time here. We've heard good and bad so I was skeptical. Our diiner was great. I can't speak to the other meals but I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the Chicken Stir Fry. Both were great. We'll be back.

First time dining in here and I am VERY impressed with the food and service. The layout is super relaxing on the eyes and very warm and welcoming. The prices seem pretty high at a first glance but the portions and flavors are definitely worth it. Went out for our anniversary and I cannot wait to tell more people about this place!

This restaurant is a lovely staple of downtown Zanesville. We have been here for both lunch and dinner (although they aren’t open for lunch), and we enjoy it immensely! The service is great, and hands down, the grits are sublime. I also love the desserts! We have had the bean burger and when we had it, it was over done. However, the restaurant made it right and went above and beyond to work with us. Their service is top notch- you can tell they care. I can’t wait to watch them grow here.

We are working on moving into the downtown area, so we walked down to Urban Comforts this evening. I had pork chops with bacon gravy, and my wife had lobster mac and cheese. As the name implies, our comfort food was delicious and the staff were amazing. If you find yourself downtown and want a special treat, you have to try this place!

A variety of dishes that are not the norm for our local area. Extremely attentive staff and service was swift. Also the desserts were unique and fun.

I thought the experience was okay at best. The booths were small and cramped. The food was fine but they had options that were not available. It took the serve fifteen minutes to greet us. I also that the menu selections were odd. My wife and I were not impressed and won’t return.

Great place food was delicious. We ordered glass of wine and a beer we didn't get the wine to after our meal was complete and I ordered a beer they brought out wrong beer. But I would definitely be going back. Jessica was a amazing server

This restaurant is formerly Zak's (which I really liked). The former owners retired after many years of preparing delicious food and seating us with a smile. I was pleased to discover that the new owner has kept the same inviting environment, and the food was great! The menu items have changed but there is still something for everyone.

My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight - and we will definitely be back! Service was A++, atmosphere is relaxing and the food was unique and delicious! I recommend saving room for the brown butter cake dessert!

This was a pleasant surprise in date night! While the atmosphere is familiar due to past restaurants, the food is a welcomed experience in our little town! For starters, my husband and I had the house chips; melt in your mouth! Main course for me was the Braised Lamb, with the grits, creamed spinach and tomato fondue. A very rich, but lick the plate clean dish! The lamb was fall off the bone, moist perfection and it was a decent portion. Settled on top of the best grits I have had since my grandmother, who made grits every Sunday, passed away. Creamed Spinach was fluffy, not slimy like some I have had before and the tomato fondue, like a cherry on top the cake! I was thoroughly impressed and delightfully full! We are coming back!

The service and the food was fantastic. Everything was delicious. The manager checked on us a couple of times during the meal to make sure everything was good. He made everyone feel extra special.

The service was Great. It is pricey but it was very nice. Jessica was our server she was excellent. She knew everything about the menu and how it taste.

Second visit...better than first. Tuna special was amazing! Will definitely return next time we travel through Zanesville. Must say dessert menu needs help. Muffin with scant caramel and ice cream was less than scrummy.

Fantastic restaurant! Our server Jessica was super friendly and the food was delicious. I got the lamb shank and my husband got the filet. We shared the house chips as an appetizer. Would highly recommend!!!!

The waitress was a sweet nice person. The drinks was good but the manager of the place should not be a manager. He is rude mouthy and got favorite customers. He tells customers certain customers money spends a lot more differently then other customers thatgoes in this place, when NO IT DOES NOT IT SPENDS THE SAME. To me this manager is either a queer or goes both ways. I heard a lot about this place too being aweful the food no good some drinks the people like some waiters and waitresses and the manager is disrespectful.

Saturday my husband and I went in for dinner. The food was great! Our waitress was very attentive and on top of everything. The sangria and teriyaki meatballs are a must try! We will be going back!

Good atmosphere. Food was good . Seat cushions need replaced, dirty silverware and did not have oranges and cherries for mixed drinks. First time there. Food was good and will give it another try at later date

Would definitely recommend and return. There were 6 of us and everyone ordered something different and everyone was pleased. Loved the red cabbage, house chips and the fries are amazing. My husband ordered second on his fries and he has never done that his life! Also the service was good and the owner is friendly.

We ordered a little bit of everything to share plates and sample a variety of dishes. Everything was insanely delicious!! Not one bad thing to say. The staff was friendly, efficient and took great care of us. The live music created a wonderful ambiance. I've noticed restaurants with this caliber of food quality tend to have a pretentious or "stuffy" crowd. It was refreshing that was not the case here. Definitely worth the visit if you are a foodie or want a memorable dining experience in a comfortable, come as you are, environment.
